MAKERSPACE

A library makerspace is an area and/or service that offers library patrons an opportunity to create intellectual and physical materials using resources such as computers, 3-D printers, audio and video capture and editing tools, and traditional arts and crafts supplies.

SUNSHINE STATE

The Sunshine State Young Readers Award (SSYRA) Program is a statewide reading motivational program for students in grades K through 8, in a collaborative effort between the Florida Association of Media in Education (FAME) and the Florida Department of Education (DOE).

Wicklow Elementary has a Sunshine State Reader incentive program. The program offers a themed prize for every book read up to the 15th book. The final prize is a Sunshine State party at the end of the year.
